Dr. Kaaweh Molawi
Kaaweh Molawi is a German patent attorney and provides support in the areas of patents, trademarks and designs and helps you to protect, defend and enforce your intellectual property rights. Kaaweh Molawi studied Molecular Medicine (Biochemistry, Virology, Immunology) at the University of Freiburg and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He earned his doctorate (Dr. rer. nat./PhD) with the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology (MPI-IB) in Berlin (Immunology, Microbiology, Neurobiology, Biochemistry).
He also worked as a business consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he supported international pharma companies in solving strategic and organizational problems.
As a scientist at the Centre d’Immunologie Marseille-Luminy (CIML, France) and the Max-Delbrück-Centre (MDC) for Molecular Medicine in Berlin he focused on stem cell biology, epigenetic gene regulation, cell therapy and gene editing. He published numerous research articles in high-ranking journals (Science, Nature Immunology, Journal of Experimental Medicine, PNAS, u.a.) and was awarded fellowships from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and the Human Frontiers Science Program (HFSP).
